Three Registered Bacterial Strains Certified as GRAS
We have registered three bacterial strains, all classified as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe), and therefore safe for human health. These strains are naturally selected for their unique metabolic characteristics. Two of them reduce the anti-nutritional factors typically found in legumes, which often cause bloating and intestinal discomfort, improving food digestibility. The third strain was chosen for its ability to produce high levels of GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid), known for its beneficial effects on the nervous system and mental health.
International Patent in the Food Sector
We have obtained an innovative patent in the food sector, initially registered in Italy and later extended to over 50 countries. This patent protects a unique process for producing highly functional natural ingredients, ensuring strategic coverage at a global level and strengthening our position as a leader in food innovation.
New Patent Application in the Nutraceutical Sector
We have filed a new patent application for an advanced process in the production of nutraceutical ingredients. This innovative process, currently under evaluation, supports health and well-being through a scientifically validated approach, offering cutting-edge nutritional solutions for the nutraceutical market.
Innovative Ingredients for Ice Cream and Pastry
Our natural plant-based formulations have been successfully developed and tested for applications in ice cream and pastry. These solutions improve the organoleptic properties of ice creams and desserts, ensuring clean label formulations that maintain excellent quality and functionality, meeting the growing demand for sustainable and healthy products.
Product Scale-Up Completed
We have completed the production scale-up process, moving from experimental laboratory production (50 ml of liquid product) to pilot-scale production (100 liters per day). The next step is industrial-scale manufacturing at our new technological facility in Putignano (BA), which is capable of producing 24,000 liters of liquid product and 4,800 kg of powdered product per day, effectively meeting the market’s growing demand.
Academic Collaborations for Food Innovation
We actively collaborate with prestigious Italian universities, including Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Bari Aldo Moro. These joint research projects allow us to explore new frontiers in advanced nutrition and the development of sustainable food solutions, strengthening the connection between science and industrial innovation.
